Your artwork, in short

It stays yours. We only process your files to make the print files, upscales and mockups you ask for.
Never used to train AI. Not by us, and not by the providers that process it for us.
Deleted automatically. Uploads and the files we make from them are removed within 7 days; download links expire after 1 day.
Never sold or shared for advertising.

1. Information We Collect

Your artwork: the images you upload, and the files we create from them.
Account details: your email address and login, when you create an account.
Billing: your plan and subscription status. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never store card details.
Usage data: which features you use, device and browser type, and technical errors.
Messages: anything you send us by email or through a form.

2. How We Use It

To make your print files, upscales and mockups (performing the service you asked for)
To run your account and subscription
To send account emails and short product tips after you sign up; you can unsubscribe at any time
To keep the service reliable and secure, and to improve it based on how features are used (our legitimate interest)

3. How Long We Keep It

Uploads, print files, upscales and mockups: deleted automatically within 7 days.
Download links: expire after 1 day.
AI Upscale: our upscaling provider is asked not to store the request, and its result expires after 1 hour on their side.
Saved packs and room sets: if you save a pack or a room set, we keep it, with a small preview picture of the artwork for room sets, until you delete it or your account.
Account and billing records: while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as accounting law requires.

4. Service Providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to run SnapToSize. Each only receives what it needs for its job:

Cloudflare: Hosting, the processing backend and temporary file storage (uploads, print files, mockups). Privacy policy
Fly.io: Servers in Frankfurt (EU) that resize your artwork and build mockups. Privacy policy
fal.ai: Runs AI Upscale, only when you choose to upscale. Your image is sent for that one job, with storage of the request switched off. Their terms license your input only to provide the service. Privacy policy
Clerk: Sign-in and account management (email address and login). Privacy policy
Stripe: Payments and subscriptions. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. Privacy policy
PostHog (EU-hosted): Product analytics: which features are used and where people get stuck. Linked to your account when you are signed in. Privacy policy
Sentry: Error monitoring in the app. It may record a short replay of a session to help us fix bugs; all text and images are masked in those replays. Privacy policy
Resend: Sends account and product emails, and replies to messages you send us. Privacy policy

Some of these providers are based outside the EU/EEA. Where data is transferred, it is protected by the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, to remember your settings in the app, and for analytics. See our Cookie Policy.

6. Your Rights

You can at any time:

Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
Ask us to correct or delete it
Object to analytics, or unsubscribe from emails
Cancel your subscription
Complain to your local data protection authority

Deleting your account removes your saved packs and room sets. For anything else, email [email protected] and we will handle it within 30 days.

7. Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), files are stored in private storage and reached only through short-lived links, and we keep as little data as possible for as short a time as possible.

8. Children

SnapToSize is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
